Just a fun announcement to introduce the newest member of the Leading Home Care family.  Julius Xavier Scott was welcomed to the world on April 30th. Everything went well and Baby Julius was and is a very healthy boy.

Two short weeks later, Papa (Stephen) and Nonni (Elizabeth) came to Pittsburgh to meet their newest grandson and to speak for the Pittsburgh chapter of the National Speakers Association.  I thought it would be fun to surprise them at the end of their meeting by taking2015-05-16 12.28.33 Julius downtown so they could meet him and show him off to their speaker friends.  Needless to say, they were surprised and totally smitten by Julius…and who can blame them!

2015-06-13 15.24.21Big brother, Alexander, who you all met last Christmas as my Special Assistant, absolutely adores his baby brother and loves singing Twinkle Twinkle Little Star to him.

I had a wonderful maternity leave with my two amazing boys and husband, and am now back working part-time while we all adjust to having an infant in the house. 🙂

We are blessed beyond measure and appreciate all of the prayers and well wishes from those members, clients and friends who knew about the addition to our family!

Artificial Intelligence in Home Care

October 9, 2025
I've been thinking about the impact of AI on Home Care. Three things happened this week that have totally shifted my awareness and thinking about Artificial Intelligence. First, I've been reading a new book that was recommended to me called "Reshuffle" by Sangeet Paul Choudary. He's a senior fellow at UC Berkley, and a strategic advisor…

The 2026 Future of Home Care Study.

For the past month, I've been working with my friends at AxisCare to refine the survey for the 2026 Future of Home Care Study. This year, we have added some new questions based on last year's data, and we have added a whole new section on AI. This year's study has three major sections; Industry…
