OPE!
Other People’s Experience
There’s probably no better way to master the art and craft of growing a top tier home care company than by interacting with and learning from other top tier CEOs.
Now there’s a new way for you to connect with CEOs of other home care companies that are in the top 10% of our industry, or who want to be in the top 10%. It’s called The Home Care CEO Forum. The Forum is an interactive membership network that offers three ways for members to connect:
The Magic of the Mastermind
There’s no better way to learn from OPE than being part of a Mastermind Group. This is a group of ten or so companies who meet regularly to share ideas, solve problems, and support one another. Elizabeth and I have been part of several mastermind groups in the professional speaking business, and the ideas we gleaned from our groups have turned into millions of dollars of revenue. At the same time, our fellow mastermind members have become our very best friends with whom we have traveled around the world.
Leading Home Care introduced the concept of Mastermind Groups to the home care industry in 2012 with the creation of our $5 Million Mastermind Group. That group has continued to meet twice a year, and the members have also become close friends and confidants. (This mastermind group is limited to ten companies, and we currently have a waiting list to join)
In 2015, we introduced the Strategic Growth Mastermind Group for CEOs of companies in the $1.5 million to $3 million range who have a Big Hairy Audacious Goal to grow to $5 Million or more. (This group is limited to ten companies, and we have three spaces available)
Recently, we were approached by several CEOs who have asked us to form a $15 million Mastermind. That’s in the works. (If you own a company that does $15 million or more, we’d love to have you in this group)
The Force of the Field Trip
Several years ago at a meeting of the National Speakers Association, my colleague, Marty Grunder, described how he sponsors field trips to his Grunder Landscaping Company in Dayton, Ohio. Marty hosts other owners of landscaping businesses who want to learn how he has built his business into one of the largest landscapers in the region.
“We can do that.” I said.
I immediately reached out to several of our clients who have large home care companies. We launched the very first Private Duty Field Trip in Phoenix, AZ at Cypress Home Care Solutions in January of 2013. Since then we have sponsored 16 Private Duty Field Trips for nearly 200 home care CEOs and COOs in Phoenix, AZ; Louisville, KY; Virginia Beach, VA; Nashville, TN; and Corona, CA. The feedback from these events has been amazing and we are constantly delighted with the reaction of the participants. (Our next field trip is April 13 & 14 in Phoenix, AZ)
Getting Results with Round Tables
One of the things we’ve learned from both the Mastermind Groups and the Home Care Field Trips is that owners and CEOs of home care companies love sitting around and talking among themselves about the home care business. I remember our first field trip to Louisville when we took the group to the Kentucky Derby Museum. There we were among the memorabilia of horse racing’s most prestigious event, and our guests only wanted to talk about home care.
If CEOs want to talk with other CEOs about home care, let us help make that happen. If you would like an opportunity to have conversation with other CEOs, then you’ll want to take advantage of our CEO Round Tables. We now have “Virtual CEO Round Tables” on a monthly basis where you can exchange ideas and ask questions about the hottest topics. In the near future, we’ll be rolling out live Round Tables where you can meet face to face with other non-competing CEOs to talk about the latest trends in the industry.
Welcome to Your Home Care CEO Forum.
To make this all happen, and to provide added value to our members, we have transformed The Academy for Private Duty Home Care into The Home Care CEO Forum. A brand new web site launched about two weeks ago, and we’ve been working diligently to get all the bugs out. Now, we’re ready for a formal launch. Please welcome …. www.homecareceo.com.
Using new technology from InfusionSoft and Memberium, we have automated many of the features of our membership network and online marketing. We have worked hard to make it easier for you to become a member of the Forum, and have a more user friendly experience after logging in to the member area.
We invite you to take a few minutes. Explore the resources of the web site. Poke around in all of the nooks and crannies of content that are there to help you grow your business. (If you find some glitches or typos, please let us know. We’ve worked hard to catch them all but you know what it’s like launching a new web site.)
If you have been a Premium Member of the Academy for Private Duty Home Care, your membership is transferred over to the new network. Jill Scott, our Manager of Member Services has sent you an email with a link to convert your membership to the new site.
If you are not yet a Member of the Forum, here’s a link to get you signed up and logged in.
