Have you decided to care for Covid-19 clients in your home care business?
What are the implications of making the decision to accept Covid Positive cases in your agency?
What opportunities will be presented by your decision to care for Covid-19 clients in the future?
These are questions being asked by home care leaders across the country, and being answered by other Top Tier home care CEOs in a new Webinar Series from The Home Care Association of America and The Home Care CEO Forum.
Last Friday, I received a phone call from Vicki Hoak, the Executive Director of the Home Care Association of America. Based on a recent survey of HCAOA members, less than half of our members are willing to accept new clients who test positive for Covid-19. What does this mean for our industry as Home Care agencies work together to be accepted as Health Care workers. Vicki asked me if I would moderate a series of live web conferences addressing this issue. Of course, I said Yes. Vicki and I go waaaaaay back to the Pennsylvania Home Care Association, my home state association that was instrumental in my beginning my business and working in home health, hospice, and home care for nearly four decades.
