Associations are the grass roots of home care, and our experience is that the leaders in our industry are also the leaders in our associations. Whether it is your state home care association, a local chapter of NPDA, or the national NPDA organization, we encourage you to be actively involved.
One way to get actively involved is to attend the national NPDA leadership conference in Orlando on September 12, 13, and 14, 2012. We’ll be there.
Stephen Tweed, CEO of Leading Home Care, will be speaking on Thursday, September 13, 2012 from 11:00am to 12:30pm. Stephen will be presenting “Serving More Clients: Top Techniques in Sales, Marketing, and Public Relations for Private Duty Home Care.” Stephen has presented this program a number of times since completing the research on which it is based.
“Serving More Clients” is focused on four elements of private duty marketing:
1. Selling and Networking
2. Paid Advertising
3. Targeted Marketing and Public Relations
4. Web and internet marketing
Beginning in the fall of 2010, Leading Home Care conducted an industry-wide survey of the readers of Private Duty Today to find out which practices they were using, and which techniques they found to be most effective in bringing in referrals that turn into admissions. We then dived into the top five techniques in each of the four areas to learn more about how successful home care companies are using these strategies.
In Orlando, Stephen will be taking the audience through the findings of this research, and then giving you a “Simple Sales and Marketing Plan” that will keep you focused and on target. He’ll discuss how to avoid the scatter shot approach, and how to track the results of your sales efforts so you know what is working.
If you are serious about growing your private duty home care business, then you will be in Orlando for NPDA, and you’ll attend Stephen’s session on “Serving More Clients.”
