shc-logoWe are happy to welcome Seniors Home Care in St. Louis, Missouri to our lineup of Home Care Field Trips!  Seniors Home Care will be hosting their first Field Trip on November 9-10, 2016 at their office.  Although this is their first time hosting a Field Trip, they have attended Field Trips and now want to give back to others by opening their doors and providing the opportunity for a great learning experience like they had.

Kit Whittington founded Seniors Home Care in 1987, making it one of the very first home care companies in St. Louis and they’ve been going strong ever since.  Kit was a single mom and registered nurse and found that when her grandmother needed in-home care, the options were very limited.  She had one goal in mind when starting Seniors Home Care – to offer seniors and their families the kind of high level, custom tailored care she had tenderly provided to her own grandmother – and they maintain that as their mission almost 30 years later.

In 2010, Kit truly made it a family business by bringing her son Ryan into the company as the Director of Operations.  Since that time they have created a couple very unique programs that set them apart from their competition.  First, iskit-photo a unique training program through a local community college that trains newly hired caregivers to provide exceptional home care services. And second, they created SHC University, a free resource for family caregivers of St. Louis. (You can learn more about SHC and their programs on the field trip information page.)

At this point, Seniors Home Care’s reputation has continued to grow through satisfied customers  150 caregivers on staff.  Kit and Ryan are also founding members of our most recently formed Top 10% Mastermind Group.

If you are interested in learning how Kit and Ryan have created and maintained such a strong company, then you’ll want to join us in St. Louis on November 9-10, 2016 for the Home Care Field Trip.  Kit and Ryan looking forward to sharing their wisdom with other companies and also having the opportunity to network and have discussions with companies outside of their service area.

We will start with an opening dinner on Wednesday, November 9th at 6:00 pm.  Then, on Thursday, the group will meet at the Seniors Home Care office for a tour and presentation by Kit and Ryan focusing on their 5 Phases of Flow (attraction, conversion, staffing, caregiving and collection) and other topics of interest to the group.  Then the group will have the opportunity to network and have discussion over lunch and finish the day with an afternoon of Q&A with Kit and Ryan.  Attendees will have the opportunity to submit questions to the hosts ahead of time, although any questions that come up during the day are obviously welcome.

The Field Trip is limited to 14 attendees from non-competing companies that do not compete with Seniors Home Care.

Join us for a great experience that has been reported to give attendees immediate return on their investment!
