Several months ago, I was invited to present the closing keynote speech for the annual conference of one of our top tier Home Care Franchise companies. They asked me to give there members an update on the latest, most effective things we’ve learned about recruiting and retention since 2017 when my latest book, Conquering the Crisis: Proven Solutions for Caregiver Recruiting and Retention was published.

We’ve been doing a lot of research the past three years on what’s working and what’s not working for Home Care companies in the top tier of our industry. The members of our Home Care CEO Top 7% and Top 5% Mastermind Groups have had extensive discussions about how to find and keep the caregiver they need.

Here’s a quick capsule of The Seven Latest Lessons:

  1. Craft a Culture of Attraction and Accomplishment
  2. Find a Superstar Dedicated Recruiter
  3. Fill your Funnel with Higher Quality Applicants
  4. Master the Three-Prongs of Caregiver Recruiting
  5. Shrink your Speed-to-Hire
  6. Drive Up 90-Day Retention
  7. Measure and Manage your Recruiting and Retention Success.

Let’s carry these lessons forward into implementation. Home Care companies in the top tier of our industry continuously work on their recruiting and retention systems, and we’re constantly learning the latest lessons. If you want to spend time in deep discussions with amazing Home Care leaders, consider becoming a member of a Home Care CEO Mastermind Group.
