The first Saturday in May is a big deal here in Louisville. It’s Derby Day. It’s “the fastest two minutes in sports.” It’s the Run for the Roses. It’s the Kentucky Derby.

Even if you aren’t in Louisville for the Derby, you can be a winner. Home care is often like a horse race. Every day you are neck and neck with many worthy competitors and you’re giving it your all to get ahead. This Saturday, give yourself a break, and take two minutes to watch the race. It’s a magnificent event. Sit in front of your big screen and cheer on your favorite horse.

To make it more interesting, Leading Home Care and The Academy for Private Duty Home Care are offering a special prize to every home care person who picks the winning horse – a complimentary Premium Membership to The Academy. This is a $499 value, and we’re making it available to everyone who picks the winner.

To play, look at the list of horses. Google “The Kentucky Derby” and read as much as you can about the horses that are entered in the race. Then go to the Derby Survey and pick your horse. Only one pick per person please. Be sure to give us your contact information.

If your horse wins, you win. Not only right now, but for the next year as you reap the benefits of being a Premium Member of The Academy for Private Duty Home Care. You’ll have access to our live monthly web conferences, our pre-recorded web conferences, and our downloadable eTools. You’ll get discounts on live workshops, mastermind groups, and eBooks. This is a terrific value at $499 per year, and it’s even better if you win a complimentary membership.

Time is Limited – Deadline to pick is 5:00 pm Saturday

You must select your horse between 6:00 pm, Wednesday, April 30, 2014 and 5:00 pm EDT Saturday, May 3, 2014. You only have three days to participate. That’s because we don’t know all the horses who will race until the drawing for the post positions on Wednesday at 5:00, and you must make your pick before the race begins on Saturday afternoon.

Then, tune your TV to NBC at 6:20 pm, Saturday May 3, 2014 and watch the Derby. We know you are already a winner, but let’s see if you can also pick the Derby winner.
